The movie everyone is talking about nowadays is Avatar, which is written and directed by James Cameron. This movie takes place in the future and is about humans that go to another moon, Pandora, to mine a rare mineral. These miners start to encroach on a local tribes, the Na’vi, land and threaten the tribes existence. The humans are genetically engineered into Na’vi people’s body’s to try and relate and get along better with the true Na’vi tribe. Even though this may not be a topic that interests many people, almost everyone who has watched it has enjoyed the film, which is also offered in 3-D. Avatar has passed the Titanic in highest gross of all time. Taking only 47 days to reach the $601.1 million dollar mark, it surpassed the Titanic, which took 252 days to reach $600.8 million. Avatars total worldwide gross as of now is around $2.075 billion. This is a movie definitely worth seeing!

I thought this movie was so unique! The maker of the movie used new technology to make this movie a success. It had so much action, so much imagination placed into it. I’ve never seen something like in avatar where the person connects to their dragon or whichever animal by the persons hair! The one factor I didn’t like was the movie was extremely long, but otherwise it was great.
